When editing or adding a drug in a patient's profile, you'll notice there are set options for the days supply: 30, 60, or 90.

Why?

CMS drug formularies are structured for only those set days supplies. We receive all of our drug pricing data from the CMS, so we must follow this same structure. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to reflect appropriate pricing.

What does this mean?

This means that drugs that are filled as 14 days supplies will automatically default to 30 days supplies when they're imported into your Amplicare account for a specific patient. Unfortunately, there's no way around this, but the pricing is still the most accurate estimate available! You or the patient can always call the plan directly to obtain more detailed information on a certain medication.
