How it works

Assist is tool that identifies patients with beneficial opportunities as you're working in your dispensing software, streamlining the workflow to take action. While checking/filling prescriptions, Assist will send a notification for patients who have an opportunity. Click here to learn more about how Assist works.

Requirements

  • Amplicare Assist is currently compatible with ComputerRx, Liberty, Pioneer, QS1 NRx, Rx30, DigitalRx, BestRx, and Micromerchant pharmacy systems. 

  • Amplicare Assist can only be installed on a Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 computer. It is NOT compatible with iOS or Linux. Click here to check what operating system your computer has.

  • Amplicare Assist is a local download and needs to be installed on each computer that should receive the notifications — keep in mind, it only sends you notifications in your dispensing software

Set Up

  1. Log into your Amplicare account at app.amplicare.com

  2. You should see a notification prompting you to download or update Assist:

  3. Click “Download Update”.

  4. Click and open the file that downloads onto your computer.

  5. Click through the steps to complete the download. You may have to click “Run”, “Next”, and “I Accept the Terms and Conditions”.

  6. The last step of the download includes logging into FDS Amplicare again. A small box will ask you to log in, go ahead and log in even if the download is not completed. If you're having trouble logging in, scroll down on this page for further instructions.

  7. Download and install on all Windows computers that are used by pharmacists/technicians to fill prescriptions.

For Pioneer users:

You may be prompted to enter your Pioneer admin credentials during the download. If you don’t know what they are, here is how you find them:

  1. Go to the “?” on the top-right-hand corner of the Pioneer window.

  2. Click on Workstation Info, and the credentials should populate.


If your pharmacy system is Liberty, DigitalRx, or BestRx, there are additional steps to follow after you have successfully installed Amplicare Assist before you can use it.

For Liberty users:

  1. Go to System and select Check for Updates to update to the most recent version of Liberty software.

  2. Go to your System and click Settings.

  3. Select Program Settings, then Interface Options.

  4. Set Amplicare Assist Enabled to True.

For DigitalRx users:

  1. Open DigitalRx.

  2. Go to System Configuration.

  3. Go to Services.

  4. Make sure the Amplicare Interface box is checked off.

For BestRx users:

  1. Open BestRx.

  2. Go to Misc.

  3. Go to MTM Interface Setup.

  4. Make sure Amplicare Assist notifications are ON.

Having Trouble Logging In?

  • If you’re trying to log in and it keeps telling you the username or password is incorrect, check your email. You may receive a “Blocked sign-in attempt” email. If you receive the email, click the link that says “If this sign-in was you, you could follow this link to let us know.” You’ll then get a confirmation stating “we received your feedback,” and you should now be able to log in to Amplicare.

  • If there are any errors during the installation or if you suspect the notifications are not appearing as intended, please contact support@amplicare.com.

  • You will only receive notifications for the products for which your pharmacy is subscribed. To learn more about our additional products, please contact sales@amplicare.com.
