2019 was an exciting year for our company. We released new capabilities on our platform, tested new updates, and tweaked features to help you reach your goals. As we get ready for a new year, let’s take a look back at the major product updates we made in the past 12 months.

#1: Ananda CBD Report 

Patient interest in CBD is growing rapidly. Early this year, we released a report in partnership with Ananda Professional, a high-quality CBD oil product line exclusively for pharmacies. The report is available in Amplicare Restore and identifies situations when an Ananda Professional product may be appropriate for a patient. 

#2: Amplicare Assist Customization Settings

To help you further streamline your pharmacy’s workflow, we added new customizable settings for Amplicare Assist notifications. Specifically, you’re now able to deactivate low priority opportunity types, change where notifications are displayed on the screen, set time limits on notifications, choose the opportunities to be displayed in notifications, and more.

#3: Performance Insights

Performance metrics are a key part of your pharmacy’s success. That’s why we introduced the “Performance” reports. These reports provide an analysis and overview of important store performance metrics as well as what you need to do to improve your measurements. 

#4: Medicare Patient Engagement Campaigns

Providing information to patients newly eligible for Medicare is beneficial to them and your pharmacy. To help, we made it easier to schedule call and text campaigns to engage with these patients (and it's free!). Setting up a personalized voice recording also adds a personal touch. 

#5: Will-Call Bin Campaigns

Here’s another important feature that helps improve patient adherence and retention. Amplicare Connect users are now able to import patient lists and schedule campaigns targeting patients who have medications ready to be picked up. 

#6: Top Open Enrollment Opportunities

Launched during Open Enrollment for Amplicare Match, this feature made it easy to determine and act on win-win opportunities for the pharmacy and the patient. It identified patients with a plan option for the coming year that is cheaper than their current plan and brings higher revenue with the pharmacy. 

#7: Doctor Lookup

As we head into the extended Open Enrollment period for Medicare Advantage plans, this new tool will be particularly helpful. Medicare Advantage plans have limited doctor networks, which means a patient switching plans may also need to change doctors. The Doctor Lookup pulls information from the national doctor database to help patients confirm the doctor network for any Medicare Advantage plan they are considering before they enroll. 

#8: Medigap Plan Finder

In addition to comparisons for Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans, you’re now able to compare and enroll patients into Medicare Supplement Insurance (or Medigap) plans. This increases the level of service you provide to patients during Open Enrollment and beyond. 

If you have patients who qualify for a Medicare Supplement Insurance (or Medigap) plan, you’re now able to help them enroll through our platform. 

#9: Improved Experience for Managing Opportunities

To improve the user experience and make it easier for you to prioritize and manage your opportunities, we introduced a new interface. You can filter by “worklist” to take action on your opportunities and follow up accordingly. 

#10: Training Resources

We updated our resources to help you train your staff and educate your patients on the complexities of Medicare. Learn more about these resources and other new and improved training options.
