Taking medication as prescribed is important for managing health conditions and general wellbeing. Plus, with financial incentives for providers, improving adherence is also beneficial for pharmacies. 

Amplicare's Low Adherence report identifies your patients who have low adherence (adherence scores between 60-79) to their maintenance cholesterol, oral diabetes, and/or hypertension medication. 

Here's how you can capitalize on these opportunities to help your patients and improve your store performance:

First, head to Opportunities and select the Low Adherence report in the Worklist dropdown box.  

"Add filter" to segment the report so you can focus on your DIR Impact opportunities.

Clicking into an opportunity will allow you to see the specific maintenance medications, their next refill dates, and ways to "Complete" the opportunity if it has been addressed:

In the opportunity box you can print a handout notifying the patient of their low adherence:

Include a MedSync enrollment form in the handout to streamline the process for obtaining consent for the program.  

Other tips:

  • Be sure to utilize Amplicare Assist to address these opportunities right in your daily workflow. 
  • Use Amplicare Connect to reach out to all of your low adherent patients with a call/text campaign.
