Patients will never receive a refill reminder for the following medications:

  • All drugs generally considered non-maintenance such as antibiotics and corticosteroids
  • All eye drops
  • All topical solutions, ointments, gels, and creams
  • Short acting insulins (e.g., Humalog)
  • Rescue inhalers (e.g., Ventolin)
  • All C2s, including amphetamines, opioids, and central nervous system depressants (e.g., hydrocodone, oxycodone, codeine, fentanyl, methadone, amphetamine salts, methylphenidate)
  • Barbiturates (e.g., phenobarbital)
  • Benzodiazepines (e.g., alprazolam)
  • Sleep aides (e.g., zolpidem)
  • Any drug with diphenoxylate (e.g., Lomotil)
  • Tramadol
  • Muscle Relaxants (e.g., cyclobenzaprine)
  • Sublingual nitroglycerin
  • Triptans (e.g., sumatriptan)
  • Erectile dysfunction drugs (e.g., sildenafil)
